Simple, but a very straight and well-structured wine. If you want to start drinking Pinot Noir, this is a nice wine to start. 2018 still very good to drink. Good until at least 2024.

I agree, this a great value for a Pinot Noir. Picked up 6 more bottles today. The aroma confounds me; the first evening it was slightly yeasty but tonight I'm tending towards earthy aromas. I'm tasting wild Strawberry and licorice. I think a well balanced wine; fruity, light tannins and smooth acidity.

Really enjoyed the 2017 ( and $14.75 Cdn ) as an amazing QPR .... most Pinot's at $15 you can't even tell if it is a Pinot .... so when the 2018 came out I asked my 'best friend' and LCBO consultant to get 24 of the 2018 .... first sip -- hmm .. a touch sweet ( a deal killer for me ) ..but quickly afterwards the sweetness blows off and --wow a $16 ( yep - up a buck ) pinot that is enjoyable ... that has to be heaven ...

Leaf Day - light garnet translucent core extending almost to the rim. Nose of dried roses, herbs, some high toned red fruit and just a touch of candy floss. On the palate the candied red fruit shows first, followed by savoury baking herbs and a hit of granite. Juicy with bright but not overbearing acidity, light and ripe tannins, and light - medium body. The herbs and candied fruit along with the granite carry on into the medium finish, ending with a lovely spice note. Very young and I think it will improve over the next couple of years. This is sort of like tasting a youthful Cru Beaujolais.
