  Deep ruby, very aromatic, with notes of menthol, cedar, tobacco, and flowers, this has tastes of cassis, cedar, red fruit, sour cherries and chocolate. A long, lingering finish, with a dash of peppery spice on the end. This is a blend of Cabernet franc (50), petite Verdot (36), Cabernet Sauvignon (11), and Malbec (3). Medium to full body, with smooth, silky tannins, this wine is rich, complex, and flavorful. Very well done!

  Generous aromas of black cherries, red currants, conifer, bell pepper, and that hint of herbaceousness you get from Cab Franc. Full bodied, stout, rather brooding, so much excellent structure, richness, and density. This is really tightly wound, but opened up beautifully on Day 2, revealing black fruit flavors that are layered with loads of depth, volume, complexity, and purity of fruit. There is loads of future promise here, but patience is warranted. 93 points now, with 94+ potential.
