  Had a bottle of this at a major dinner and it was not decanted as is the preference in France. While 28 years old it drank beautifully from the first glass and was delicious, smooth and had clearly aged well. A pleasure to drink. It had some berry tones and a smooth finish. A fabulous wine. Really enjoyed it.
