  • Cherry with spice and herb notes. Lots of flavor packed in here, but it’s not heavy and is easy to drink. There is a decent amount of structure, as well, and I’ll hold my other bottle for a while - I don’t have experience with the producer, but seemingly this would benefit greatly from another 10-15 years.

  • Late night pop and pour. Candied cherries, fresh spice, lush and full with a touch of bitter straw at the end. Showing very young with grippy tannins. The sweetness of the Grenache comes through a bit more than I would have liked. I’m sure this will mellow into a beautiful wine but perhaps not for me tonight.

  • The sweet, ripe cherries pop as soon as the wine hits the glass. From there, leaf, thyme and fresh herbs join in. On the palate, the wine is round, plush, polished and juicy, with a purity to the fruit that carries through to the well-defined, kirsch oriented finish. The wine is made using 100% old vine Grenache.
