  From a nice looking bottle with a 4.5 mm fill, this wine had a ruby red center and orange rims. It was throwing a lot of sediment. The nose displayed raisins, red fruit, and was somewhat oxidized. While complex, it was not particularly attractive.
  
  Rich and ripe with a fruity mid-palate and a long finish, this wine was considerably better in the mouth than on the nose. The tannin was ripe and round and it had a lovely rich mouth feel. It improved with several hours of air but not enough to overcome its flaws. My guess is that this bottle was spoiled by heat. However, I cannot be sure, other than, I am sure this bottle was a disappointment relative to my expectations. There seemed to be a lot of potential here so I am going to assume this is a bottle problem as opposed to a wine problem.
