  Muy buen ejemplo de cómo tratar este varietal. Un vino potente, con estructura pero dócil y equilibrado. Abundante fruta negra con notas de ciruela, moras, regaliz y cassis. Aromas secundarios de chocolate negro, cuero, café y tabaco. Delicioso y muy recomendable.

  Aired for 1+ hour, then tasted over two days. Inky purple in color, with jammy plum aroma plus some herbal notes. Fruit forward on the tongue, with strawberry and plum, and some mild forest floor. Mid length finish. Full bodied with a nice mouth feel.

  Full body, black and blue fruits and very smooth. Friends enjoyed it tremendously.

  Rich, full-bodied wine. Needs 30 mins plus to smooth out, but you are well rewarded. Plush, has a nice mouthfeel, plums, dark cherry, and some dark chocolate. Medium acidity. Soft finishing tannin with some air time. Initially can be a touch rough. Very nice drinker and needs good red meat to accompany it. Would buy it again. 91+

  Inky purple in the glass with noticeable stains on the side walls. Aromas of very ripe blackberry, charred oak, black cherry coulis, dark chocolate, a medicinal note (Oak?) and cracked pepper. Th palate is dry with medium acidity and high tannins. Full bodied and oozing with rich flavors of ripe black fruit and charred oak. The medicinal note I got is there as is the dark chocolate. The teeth staining tannins are very persistent throughout to a medium length finish. I love this varietal and really enjoy this winery- a winning combination that makes this a 92 point wine imho. You can find it for $53 online, making it a 4 star wine. I am pairing with Rib Roast and all the trimmings. Drink till 2030.
