  • Full body, fruity and a long aftertaste. A bit oaky. Very enjoyable on the second day. Still very primary

  • excellent wine. fruit to the brim, no concessions there. almost sweet, but it isn't, its just the fruit. lots of strawberry, red berries. a bit of oakiness but not too much. medium body, soft tannins, medium finish. quite drinkable. good buy if you have it. recommend.

  • pretty underwhelming, some enjoyable red fruit notes and earthy notes, but overly acidic finish

  • Saturday calls for a nice southern Rhone wine, Gigondas to be exact. Pop and Pour is full of game aromas with lots of red fruits like cranberry, strawberry, and cherry with hints of perfume, dried herbs, (ketchup? 😳😅), and black pepper.

With some decanting everything becomes subtle. The game aromas follow the palate along with the perfume, dried herbs, and red fruits. But No ketchup on the tongue 😜 thank God.

Mostly low tannins with low acidity. The 15% abv is really subtle until it isn't. 😅

  • Drinking pretty well this young, all things considered. Violet petals, anise, black licorce, raspberry pie and blueberry pie on the nose. Fresher fruit on the palate - certainly not "pie like" - call them ripe raspberries and blueberries as well as notes of anise and garrigue. The garrigue is especially intense on the finish.

Medium + body, surprisingly medium + acid, medium tannin and a nice long finish that ups the garrigue note to 11. To my palate, this is a very nice Gigondas; but the "pie" notes on the nose are just too much for me.

You can absolutely drink this now; but you can also cellar it for 2-5 more years.
