  Great polished wine. Dark fruit, velvet not quitting on the mouthfeel. First few sips were eye opening after aeration.

  Nice -- the 26 months in oak comes through! Very powerful, modern cote-rotie like in style, dark fruit, a touch of charcoal.

  Outstanding. Powerful nose of crème de cassis and spice cake. The palate is concentrated but with good acidity to bring real balance for such a deep wine. Blackcurrant liqueur, coffee, spices and pepper. Finish goes on and on.

  Blackberry and blueberry, with a number of other flavors seamlessly thrown in. Despite having this as a pop and pour it was ready to go, bursting with flavor, and reminding me why Booker has usually been my favorite Saxum wine. I am so going to miss it!

  First, I’m pissed at myself as I should have never opened as evening was coming to an end. And then what did I do, forgot to close it up and was left with 2/3’s of a wasted bottle of great wine.
  I would wait at least 2yrs can see it improving a bit more.
