Christmas Eve 2021 (Home): Mid-tawny to deep bronze, the wine is showing its age and displays oxidation and tired fruits. Not much on the palate; there is some sweetness and a rich, dried out glace orange and honey but little else. Medium acidity.

Light gold, fresh Riesling aromatics - honey, petrol, nectarine and a hint of lime. There is some sweetness and the wine is not as linear as I prefer in Riesling, but very pleasant. Very good with onion soup with mushrooms and Gruyere

nose: very fleshy and opulent nose with tones of honeysuckle, spiced pears, white fruits and some green apples.
taste: fuller bodied with medium/high acidity that is still noticeable but also refreshing. Balanced with a plump feel and tones of honeysuckle, minerals, nectarines and some green apples.
overall: listed as indice 2. So, it isn't fully dry. It doesn't feel off-dry though and instead creates for a richer wine. The mid-palate is slightly lacking, but this is a ZH that feels like it's starting to mature while still needing some more time.

Better than I was expecting. Relatively clean in term of oak for a Humbrecht. Nice tropical fruit note with petrol and good minerality and acidity. Finish has medium+ length, it's fresh and pleasant. This could hold longer but I guess it won't dramatically benefit from further bottle age.

Med-rich, off-dry, golden & fresh. Well made but straight-forward, lacks a little complexity
