I’ve been having a lot of Beckmen lately…everything is good. Nose: cranberries, strawberries, oak, smoke, cinnamon. Palate: medium body, fruit forward, cranberries, candied cherries, strawberry, herbs, baking spices. Delicious!

I believe that the Grenache is the Beckman's best wine. Starts with blueberry and moves on to slight cranberry and then spice and cedar wood. Lovely and worth trying.

Paired this against a 2000 PMV Grenache and while I personally preferred the 2018, it was a split decision amongst the 6 of us. Heavy red fruit and a great mouthfeel make this insanely drinkable, even if not extraordinarily complex. Will likely benefit from a year or two more in bottle.
