Relativt lys i fargen for en CDP. Aroma med preg av herbes de Provance, cassis, eksotisk krydder og kjeller. I munn er den medium fyldig, integrerte tanniner og uten merkbar alkohol tross sine 15 %. Bra lengde.

Very balanced, tasty, nice integrated structure, moderate mouth watering acidity at end. Thoroughly enjoyed this after a disappointing 2019 Clos St Michel CdP the night before.

Had a number of wines over the week and this was the favorite of the casual wine drinkers. Very tasty balance of fruit and spice. Went well with beef filet.

Halos de Jupiter's 2018 Châteauneuf-du-Pape is a medium-to-deep ruby blend of 85% Grenache, 10% Syrah and 5% Mourvèdre. Although lighter in color than its 2017 sibling, it still packs a respectable punch when it comes to its aromatic and flavor profile. This particular bottle was Vinturi-decanted and serially sampled over the ensuing three hours. Red bramble fruits, tarry black cherries, Provençal herbs, orange zest and Asian spices are framed with fresh acidity, medium sweet tannins, well-integrated oak and alcohol that throws no heat (despite being listed as 15%). Medium-bodied and with good mid-palate density, it concludes with a medium-to-long finish. Already quite drinkable, this should be at its best during its first decade. Drink now-2028.

Really nice. Velvet smooth with blackberry and cassis. Oak on the finish with just a hint of spice.. Which is below some nice vanilla
