Overall: ripe, dense pinot noir with medium-soft, somewhat green tannins and limited varietal character. Got this on sale at Costco and am pleased with the purchase overall. No reason to sit on these- drink up and share with friends as it’ll be a crowd-pleaser.
Color: translucent ruby red with earth tones toward the rim
Nose: rather ripe, with dark fruit like blackberries, plums, subtle chalk aroma, some oak aromas like vanilla
Palate: medium-soft tannins, low acid, easy to drink. Flavors of blackberries, blueberries, plums, ripeness and alcohol suggest sweetness but not actually sweet. Some stemminess/bitterness in the tannins, but they’re soft at this point 6 years after harvest.
Finish: dry, but not puckering, fairly short, a touch bitter

Nose of sweet and sour fruit, same on the palate, fairly fruit forward, at peak in 9 months, medium/big body, tasty, mouth filling fruit, opened nicely after 45 minutes in the glass, has traits of Carneros region on both the nose and mid palate, great price at Costco, long finish, new wine tasted.
