I may be overscoring this, but it reflects my enjoyment of this wine. There's some real intensity and depth to the palate here that raises it above the crowd, as well as an overall sense of completeness and uniqueness. Red berries and darker cherries, eucalyptus, game meats, earth. Love that complexing meaty flavour. Loads of interest and enjoyed every mouthful.

A great concentration of flavour and really good integration of that vanilla oak that Temp loves. The only thing lacking here was a drive of length. The wine softened a little on the back palate, but overall, still a very good wine!

Side-by-side tasting of the three single site 2018 tempranillos: loving this. While the nose on the Dry Spur shades it, the palate of the Little Dam has brighter red fruit and more drive. A heap of depth and complexity on show here. The only site not to be irrigated, and it shows. Great balance of fruit intensity and well handled oak. Time will be friendly too.
