  Sauvignon Blanc From Around the World, Tasted Blind (Casa de la Mata - Chicago IL): Double blind in SB tasting, alongside what turned out to be '19 Monts Damnés. These also seemed so classically Sancere. Lean and lemony with apple on finish. Bright, energetic, and focused, but just less concentration than Monts Damnés.

  Elegant and crystalline, with clean linen, white peach, and unripe pear. A touch dilute and I found myself wanting for more cut. But it’s still top notch Sancerre

It did spread out a bit and hint at more complex characteristics over the course of the second and third nights, however.
