A touch deeper golden yellow green; great as always, this shows a touch more weight, eggy golden yellow fruit, lemon candy, hint of butterscotch, a salty edge, good lift on the palate, really drinkable, developing slightly but should be good for a few years more before it shows significant development, a tremendous value as always.

This wine poured a medium straw color to the glass. Great, zippy youthfulness and acidic character throughout. The nose on this wine is really complex. Mango, banana, peach, passion fruit, and nice gravelly limestone finish. This wine is crazy complex and the QPR on this wine is quite insane actually. Sta Rita Hills Chardonnay went with an eclectic bunch of leftovers including pea salad, ashes potatoes, braised carrots and spinach cheese casserole. Drink now or hold for a few years.

The real deal - wonderful qpr. Give this to anyone that says they “don’t do cali Chardonnay”.
Incredible balance, wonderfully lemony fruit. A little bitter grapefruit pith to keep it interesting. Touch of smoke and toast. Highly recommended.
