  • Ohhh, this is quite good.
Sage, citrus, and salinity on the nose and fore palate followed by delicate floral notes, crisp apple, and a flinty minerality that dances for a time with the aforementioned salinity.
Austere yet lush -akin to an Alpen spring meadow at the height of bloom rimmed by craggy mountains.

  • -- popped and poured --
    -- tasted non-blind over approx. 1.5 hrs --
    -- 60% Pinot Bianco, 30% Chardonnay, 10% Sauvignon --

NOSE: "green" --- pyrazines, similar to some Central Coast Sauv. Blancs I've had; banana leaf; light honeysuckle; grass; hint of hay.

BODY: light, golden yellow color; medium-light bodied.

TASTE: lightly spicy; lots of mineral -- more mineral than fruit; it's a well-made wine, but it's just not my cup of tea; it lacks verve/energy, and I think this blend of grapes simply doesn't present a flavor profile that attracts me. Not a re-buy.
