2018 Beringer Founders’ Estate Chardonnay (California) Ethereal aroma of lime peel and Asian pear with a hint of toast. Big apple and pear flavours with a soft oak finish. Not particularly buttery or luscious but still has a nice viscous mouthfeel and decent length for its medium weight, fruit forward style. A very economical, deftly made California Chardonnay. The penny pinching pensioner’s plonk. Perfect for your in-laws too.

Pear and Cookie dough in the nose. Long lasting with a buttery and creamy finish. Could have slightly more acidity.

Buttery with a bit of vanilla and earthy notes of honey and fruity ones of pear. It has a bit of an aftertaste I can’t put my finger on. Medium finish
