  Lovely fruit here, but liberal use of American oak. It needs to be decanted to allow the fruit to shine. I really enjoyed this on a very cold night. Rich fruit, spicy and quite delicious. Not sweet and well balanced acid level. No contemplation needed, just a warming winter wine here. A proper bargain for $20 or under.
