Bottle: Winebid purchase 10 years ago. Bottom neck fill. Cork 3/4 saturated. No seepage. Color: Pretty ruby with garnet rim. Nice sparkle. Nose: Muted nose of red berries, baking spices and rose petals. Hints of earth. Palate: A bit thin and light bodied. Sweet cherries/berries/plums somewhat successfully fighting off some bitter, earthy tannins in the background. Overall: Not great but still drinkable and remarkable for a nearly 50 year old Mendocino County Cab.
