Very pleasant overall with ripe & floral start, good enough balance, ending with a slightly tart/ bitter finish that detracts from the overall sense of a balance. Good now.

Not an austere pinot grigio: fruity, flavorful, a wee spritz on the tongue, rich tongue and nasality, sweetness and acidity very balanced. Not as easily quaffed vs. sipped as lighter pinot grigios.

Color: light gold Nose: boxwood and sour almond, delicate white flowers, herbs, minerals, and a little bit of passion fruit. Good intensity and focus Palate: medium-light body with medium-high acidity. Bone dry, intense. Sour almond and a little passion fruit again. Scratched tree bark greenness. Finish: medium
Textbook Friuli pinot grigio. No faux fruit, no sugar, intense yet very fresh. You can, if so inclined, drink this chilled. You should really have this a little warmer, around 14-16, and give it a chance to breathe to fully enjoy the intensity. That said, it's summer and this wine makes it feel like it when you're negotiating a branzino and want to keep things within the boundaries of decency.

Good. A fruit-forward PG, with apple, pear, and mineral aromas. Medium acidity with some bitterness on the finish.
