  N: Apples, certainly, with a SLATEY aspect
  
  P: LM body; Crisp entry with reasonable frt which extends through the fairly LONG, crisp, ult quite pleasant finish. Not the BEST accompaniment for COSTCO's roast chicken, though it did "work" with this easy to accompany item. Drinking on the crisp, austere end of the spectrum, so NEEDS food: E.g., simply prepared fish, perhaps even in cream sauce because of this wine's acidity. 89-91 pts WA (Dunnuck) & Silver @ the '16 Concours General Agricole Paris. [Though no longer available @ the purchased $12.95, as of mid Feb '19 wine-searcher still shows a source @ $15.]

  -med acidity on backend, med- weight, has some viscosity that keeps the aromatics down but also coats the palate with a fresh floral melon mineral mix

  “80% Grenache Blanc & 20% Roussanne grown on gravelly limestone clay soils near the village of Maury;” Typically, “Fermented in tank & largely aged in concrete with a small portion of the cuvée aged in FR oak demi-muids.”
  
  Private Preserve after Day 1
  
  N: CLOSED (too cold?) :(
  
  P: MF, poss Med, body; Crisp acidity with sufficient frt to match up; Lingering finish; // Day 2: While still not much aromatically, the frt WAS > obvious, providing a delicious counter note to the acidity.
  
  89-91 pts WA (Dunnuck), 89 (2x) winealign.com , & Silver @ the '16 Concours General Agricole Paris. [As of late Feb '20, wine-searcher still shows a source @ $15.]
