Community Tasting Notes (2) Median Score: 89 points

  • Medium (-), translucent ruby with a garnet hue. Med (+) aromas of red cherry, alcohol, cola, sassafras, baking spices. Noticeable, but subtle new French oak. Dry, but fruit forward, with med. acidity and tannins. Alcohol is a tad high at 14.3%. Med. (+) flavor intensity and length. Drinking well now, by itself or with food. It's a bit soft, so best served cool as a pairing well with spicier cuisines. I paid $11 for it, which is almost offensively cheap. Would gladly pay in the $20 range for it.
