A complete unknown producer for me. Such a beautiful presentation of Pinot. Simple clean flavorful fruity you put a blindfold on this is what you want. Dark ruby in color. Almost similar to tin river you would see in a Tasmania wilderness. The nose is super soft and clean with no hint of what’s to come. The beginning is bright almost floral with red cherry, roasted beet, The middle almost has a salty middle mouth teal brightness. With a tiny tiny bit of space peppery long lingering finish. Leave this in the bottle if you can if I ever find it again I will love it in the future.

Amazing experience for such a young wine. It is lighter in colour than I expected, red fruits, strawberry and cream, balanced, velvety, silky in texture but light bodied, some spice and a long finish - yum. This was my first try of Apogee Pinot Noir and it reminded me of some Tolpuddle's I've had with 5 or 6 years bottle age - but more. I will get more, but I'm not sure if I will be able to leave any alone to find out if they improve with time.

Tasmanian Pinot Noir Fair 2021 (Prince Sydney, 40 Hansard Street): medium minus intensity aromas of sour red currant lozenges, a little sweet spice. Drying tannins, fruit a little sweet and sour on the plate. Medium length. Meh.
