Ripe blackcurrant, smoked meat, graphite and sage. Smooth and forward presentation with notes echoing the nose. Medium bodied structure which is already polished and open. Some tannins to stretch the deep and lingering finish. Ready to drink now without decanting. Keeping a few more years would develop its complexity.
