Vintage after vintage, this wine continues to make absolutely no sense, and I’m here for it. Flat, boring upon PNP, but a half bottle left closed in the fridge turns it into a very solid gruner that leans to the peach/apple side of the grape with a touch of white pepper. Medium-short finish, solid acidity. I’m guessing this will drink best in 3-5 years, which seems a little insane for a $6 wine.

Crisp, refreshing white. Slight crackle. Well balanced. Underripe stone fruit.

Really good for the price! Nice and dry, but not overpowering.
