  A rare bird this, the Second white from Ch .Cos D'Estournel.....another example of a singular Bordeaux commune producing wines unlike anywhere else, from Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon( with a trace of Muscadelle).
  On nose: tart grapefruit, white florals and green herbs.
  On palate: the above notes amplified, with impeccably woven oak, blanched almonds, green fig fruit, Meyer lemon, a ghost of anise, and a lightly persistent finish of Jasmine tea....all on a sleek, elegant body, with balanced youthful acidity, after a 2 hour decant....the 14.0 % alcohol is barely noticeable....this wine will put on some weight over the next decade....
  As a long time fan of several vintages of Cos D'Estournel red....this is a fine revelation.
  Went well with Salmon and lemon garlic shrimp this evening.

  Spicy lemon, lime, green apple and floral notes continue from the nose to the palate. The wine is fresh, zesty and creamy, with a touch of sweetness in the yellow citrus in the endnote. Drink from 2022-2027.

  2019, Pagodes de Cos Blanc, Saint-Estèphe AOC (88% Sauvignon Blanc, 12% Sémillon, 8% Neuholz, 14.38% Alkohol, pH 3.16, die ältesten Reben sind bereits 35 Jahre alt. Verkostet am 10.7.2020 in Windisch). Mittleres Gelb, grüne Reflexe. In der Nase verführerisch und feinduftig mit Aromen die an Limetten, Jasmintee und Mandelblüten erinnern. Der Gaumen ist opulent, sehr vollmundig, die reife Frucht wird von einer gut integrierten Säurestruktur getragen, trotz hohem Alkoholgehalt wirkt der Wein leichtfüssig und angenehm frisch. Endet langanhaltend auf Limettenaromen. Ein sehr guter Weisswein der sich selbst neben seinem grossen Bruder nicht verstecken muss. 2021-2025. 91 vvPunkte. vvWine.ch

  Sweet, juicy, zesty yellow citrus with a touch of mango and white flowers carry through from the nose to the palate, leaving with plenty of round, crisp, citrus zest in the finish.
