  Sweet and smoky with tobacco leaf, espresso, lead pencil and ripe, dark red berry notes create the aromatic profile. On the palate, the wine is soft, round, polished, sweet and fruity. There is lift, character and a load of ripe red berries in the finish. Enjoy this while waiting for the Grand Vin to develop. Drink from 2023-2034.

  A merchant who has received from the Magrez Estates a set of 2019 EP wines in a lovely box with 0.375 bottles organized this tasting. Overall the vintage showed very well, reminiscent of 2009 or 2015. TN: Lovely nose already with dark fruit and a whiff of smoke. Creamy mouthfeel and good freshness. I think this is a winner. 92-93

  Early drinking, soft, smoky, medium-bodied, earthy, fruity wine with soft, polished textured and ripe, juicy, smoked red fruits with a back note of cocoa in the finish. This definitely shows some of the same character you find in its big brother, the Grand Vin. 90-92 Pts
