  33% new oak. Deep ruby in the glass.
  
  Perfumed nose. Bright red cherry, jacket leather, strawberry, raspberry and floral / rose.
  
  Easy drinking and well-balanced wine with fine, firm tannins and fresh acidity. Alcohol overly present.
  
  Flavours are less complex than the nose. Black plum, blackberry, earth and spice.
  
  Hot finish. Too young.
  
  Drink 2023-2027

  Clean pale/medium ruby; clean medium nose of jammy red cherries, savoury herbs, wood and vanilla; dry; high acidity; medium plus tannins; high alcohol; medium body; medium flavour intensity; palate is tarter than nose with addition of cocoa; medium finish; not impressive - very sour, weak and almost undrinkable; not like our first bottle - hopefully this bottle is the outlier

  Clear medium ruby; clean medium nose of brambleberry pie, jammy red cherries, soil and barnyard; dry; medium plus acidity; medium tannins; medium plus alcohol; medium body; medium plus flavour intensity; palate has fruit payoff and addition of cocoa; medium plus finish; drink now or in a few years
