Two hours slow ox. Nose shows dark but modest restrained fruit. Similar to my last tasting there's something here but it's just not particularly rich or complex. A solid midweek wine, this is a nice change of pace from some other weekday wines like Kenefick or QC CVR, but a glass is easier to enjoy than the QPR.

This opaque crimson wine is a blend of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot and 2% Petite Sirah. Loaded with black and blue fruits that are flanked with fig, bittersweet chocolate, licorice, clove and toasted oak, it is a full-bodied red with lively acids, well-integrated alcohol (14.6%) and plentiful polished tannins. Dense on the mid-palate and lengthy on the finish, this is a crowd-pleasing yet surprisingly structured Cab that should provide a hedonistic experience over the next several years. This particular bottle was decanted through a Vinturi aerator and benefited from the first two hours in carafe. Drink now-2033.

Floral with some fruit, probably blackberry, on the back end. Easy drinking, wish it was a little more complex, but maybe needs a little more time in the bottle.

Coravin'd 2 glasses last night and pulled the cork at home to follow dinner out.
Nose is more floral after pulling the cork versus the Coravan samples, with lavender, ripe blueberry And cardamom on the nose.
Fruit driven across the pallet with just enough structure for interest, much smoother and easier to drink than last night sample. Not overly complex but an enjoyable quaff if you can stomach the ownership.
