Very light-bodied. Little tannins, light cherries and short finish. I won't complain as it's an $8 dollar wine but reminds me why I spend more than that on my everyday drinkers.

Light red in color. A very faint earthy berry aroma, barely much there. Very little on the palate, pretty one dimensional of light vegetal cherry and a short finish.

This is one of those wines that is decent for the price, but it doesn't have that extra "umph" that makes it possible to forget the price. A pretty standard, unfocused, rough Cotes de Rhone with decent fruit but no balance. Pretty hot and rough tannins. I guess its a good buy at 8 bucks a botle, but like I said, it doesn't drink like a $15 bottle so the value is kind of lost. I agree with some other reviewers who recommends "splurging" on the Guigal.

Past its peak. Not much appeal left. Saving the rest for cooking.
