Nose of bay leaf, preserved cherry, prune, and forest floor. Medium-bodied: juicy entry, but weighty mid-palate. Flavours of leather, blackberry, and dried cranberry.

A huge surprise for my last bottle! Nose: ripe cherry, sweet fruit, mint palate: smooth dark cherry fruit, good supporting acidity , a bit bitter on finish. Matured and nice to drink now! Wonderful showing and all friends agreed this performed better than the Dujac Chambolle Musigny 2014 !

Really don't understand those previous comments that said it had passed the peak..... In fact it still have plenty of life IMO! Already giving expressive nose of tea, mint, dark cherry. very fragrance , and intermixed with a bit oak and gamey. Palate: smooth, good acidity, lively dark cherry fruit, with strong mineral core, a bit tea/caramel finish. A subtle expression of new world pinot, elegant use of oak, with good mineral favor. Can relate it to a 1er cru of gevrey chambertin. At least can age 5 more years for really reaching the peak.

(RESERVE Pinot Noir Yering Station) Pinot Noir Dear Friends, This wine is outstanding and it’s received just as much praise Down Under as it did today from Josh Raynolds. It makes me smile when one of the good guys gets noticed and the people at Yering Station deserve all the accolades - Tom Carson is a former winemaker of the year from the IWSC, so this is not a surprise. If you are looking for the world’s most interesting 2005 Pinot Noir (to put in a blind vintage retrospective down the road) this wine deserves to be in the line-up and it will run circles around may of the US examples at twice the price. It has Burgundian style in spades with a unique quality from the cool-climate Yarra Valley terroir - truly a Victorian original. Next to the Bindi “Block Five”, this was Josh’s highest rating for Pinot Noir from the 2005 vintage in Australia. EXTREMELY LIMITED - only 15 cases remain for the US ONE SHIPMENT ONLY directly from eh source with perfect provenance 2005 Yering Station Pinot Noir Reserve - please be patient with final allocations (this wine is even more limited than Bindi and it is half the price) Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Aus7540
