  Vinous was probably right and we drank this too young. PNP'd at lunch. Red fruit on the nose. The palate was cherry, currant, a hint of raspberry and a touch of baking soda. The finish was smooth.

  Nose of berries, leather, very pleasant fragrance. First impressions of a intense rush of berries with a mineral element toward the back end of the tasting. Very, very pleasant wine!

  This nose takes a more floral and headier take to the tones of bright red cherries, raspberries, fresh herbs, wild flowers, violets, perfumes, strawberries, and some fresh thyme. There is a real expressive side to this that is extremely attractive, but the tones are lacking a smidge of depth right now. The Medium bodied feel is fresh and lively with crisp, medium+ acidity and slightly chewy, medium+ tannins. I would love to see where this goes with a bit of age. The nose is so perfumed and lovely right now to where I really want to see it add some depth and layering.

  Very tight upon opening. Developed nicely over the next 3 days. Quite acidic but in balance. Fruit is mostly red, but has rhubarb and cranberry brightness—but the juicy fruit on the palate says this reached ripeness. Stoney finish. Could use a few years to soften but is quite strong now.
