  • Amber with orange hue, normal for its age. Cork only soaked to 20-30%. Great chord of scents as apricots, tangerines, honey, brown sugar, herbal/spicy notes, black tea. Typical high eiswein-acidity on the viscous palate with sugar largely shed, but still remaing sweet enough to go as a dessert or maybe it is already better as an aperitif. Almost searing acidity really, just balanced by the sweetness. In ten or twenty years with farther reduced sweetness, it may be unbalanced to me. Finishing on fruity citrus and tea notes for minutes. 5/15/20/10. -2040+

  • Very deep amber, quite surprisingly so. The nose shows all the maturity of the wine, wonderful complexity and depth, a delicate sense of sweetness and still botrytis. On the palate the most striking thing is its piercing acidity, which comes as a surprise given the color and the nose. But it comes together with complex, deep flavors of sweet and dried fruit (apricots I can single out, but there is a lot more), all bound together in pure silk. The contrast between this and the acidity is striking, but gives the wine an amazing sense of energy.
    Absolut herrlich!
