So much effort in making a monovarietal wine from Mazuelo (cariñena), which is rare in itself, a wine from a chosen estate and the result obtained is, to say the least, disappointing. Young, fresh and direct on the nose, very fruity but softened by the presence of oak. Rough and unbalanced on the palate. Short and quickly boring.

Confirming last tasting note and upping rating by 1. We enjoy this every time. Try to give it an hour before drinking at 61F. QPR is high, easily beats some $40-50 bottles.

A bit too tart and bitter for my taste. May need more time.

Violet, cedar, pepper, black currant. A bit rough till an hour after opening. Soft tannins, medium body.
