  • 60 % Grenache, 40 % Syrah
    from Les Terasses de L'Eridan with soils rich in quartz and marl limestone.
    Sorted and de-stemmed. Vinified in stainless steel and oak.
    Aged 8 months partly in wood and partly in stainless steel vats.
    14% Abv.
    Partnership: Domaine & Maison Les Alexandrins founded in 2012 by
    Nicolas Jaboulet (head of Maison Nicolas Perrin);
    Guillaume Sorrel, son of Marc Sorrel of Domaine Sorrel; and
    Alexandre Caso, specialist in the terroirs of the Northern Rhône.
    The Maison produces a full line of Northern Rhône appellations.

    A(ccuray)=2: Deep ruby. Fleshy fruity GS blend.
    B(alance)=2: Ripe fruit with supple acid structure.
    C(omplexity)=2: Dark berries, licorice, peppery spice.
    D(epth)=1: Suave mouthfeel. Good length and finish.
