PnP nose was beautiful but very tannic on the finish. Even after an hour in the glass it just wasn’t that enjoyable. I will wait several years to open my other bottle

Bouquet focused on olive and cocoa in the foreground, with black cherry and tobacco in the background. Layered, concentrated, yet mid-weight palate, earthy blackberry attack, sustained acidity with fine tannins in the mid-palate, followed by a long finish of plum and dark chocolate. Tannins are very fine, they build over a glass without being overbearing, should sustain a nice aging arc without intruding on the enjoyment in the near term.
A balanced, refined if not elegant wine, not huge or imposing. Will benefit from 3-5 years to enter its optimal drinking window, should develop for at least a decade.

Medium+ nose intensity with notes of green bell pepper, herbaceous, red fruits. Medium+ acidity and medium tannin.
