  Pleasant if unremarkable merlot, purple, plums and oak, well balanced

  An acceptable red at a cheap price but a bit short on Merlot flavors. Not a buyer for us. A good Merlot is REALLY hard to find since most vineyards pulled it out and planted Syrah. We keep looking but this one ain't it.
