  • Pale to mid-yellow, the nose is bright with oak spics, lactone, nutmeg, clove and smoke. There is pencil shavings, nuts and rock dust that give an impression of Wheatsworth cheese crackers. The fruit is lemon, grapefruit and Galia melon.
Medium-bodied, the entry has a fresh, fine line of tingling acidity and some breadth and sweetness to the fruit. The finish is long, but the wine shows quite a bit of oak. A lovely core of lemon pith, grapefruit and apple pulp keeps the wine singing.

  • Light to medium yellow.
Lifted peach blossom, citrus, grapefruit, apple, nut and more than anything, distinct oak spices.
A vibrant, fresh full acidity on entry supporting plump white stone fruit, Meyer lemon, oatmeal and ripe apple. Great depth of flavour; there is a bulbous rounded feel to the mid-palate and just enough acid to keep the wine energetic. Complex, the wine has a fair acid structure, although some honey appeared toward the back palate that was slightly distracted.
