Very pale. Light and clean, lemony, begins rather neutral but builds towards the finish with more creaminess and layers of almond and hay. I enjoyed it enough but I can’t say I’m in a mad rush to go out and buy more of it.

I actually have no idea what the vintage is because I can’t see it on the label. To further confuse things the front label says 12% while the back 13%. Anyway, I found this a bit underwhelming. Gentle lemony fruit and creamy leesy texture. Perfectly pleasant but I don’t think it was cheap, £12-15, and lacked tang and complexity. You’d be much better getting a Macon or similar. A shame as I’d heard good things about this wine.

Golden yellow color. Grass and lemon aroma. Flavors are about the same, with a little bit of stone. Not a great example of what a Godello can be.
