  Voltando 10 meses depois a esta safra deste corte de Touriga Nacional, Aragonez e Alfrocheiro com estágio em barricas de carvalho francês. 14% alc/vol. Na taça um rubi levemente fosco, de intensidade média-alta e halo atijolado. Nariz de muitos aromas terrosos, café, fruta negra confitada. Em boca um vinho íntegro, acidez ainda bastante ativa, taninos finos mas bem presentes, certo corpo e volume, boa intensidade gustativa com mais café e final longo. Melhor que na prova anterior, talvez tenha chegado ao seu auge.

  👃 A bit of alcohol, green stems, purple or black fruit. It's really not giving a lot so hard to tell.
  
  👅 Black plum, slightly balsamic and salty, cedar, dusty tannins, slightly sweet oak on the finish like a whisky, a somewhat long finish.
  
  No fading in the colour.
  
  The next day, the balsamic note is gone leaving a concentrated fruity and oaky wine, though in balance.
  
  Was hoping for just a bit more given the age, but not at all mad about the value. Would not buy again though.

  Red & dark berries. Well integrated oak. Med plus acid. Very fresh and seems like still many good years ahead.

Na taça um vinho sutil, de estrutura média, acidez preservada, tanino fino e evolução terciária marcante, mesclando nuances terrosas que remetem a chão de bosque com uma fruta confitada e licorosa. Muito boa RQP, inclusive porque o preço do App (35€) é bem superior ao praticado no Brasil.

  Purchased for $20. Served in a Riedel Vinum Pinot Noir Glass. Wow. Really surprised here. I really haven't had many Dao wines that I enjoy, but this was delicious. Really expressive nose of dark fruit, oak and spice. Definitely has a "new world edge" to it. More juicy dark fruits on the palate and sweet vanilla. Lots of juicy dark berry fruit here. Very nice acidity and moderate tannins. Very nice. I want more. Grade: A-
