Opened for Halloween - pours a light ruby and is medium bodied. Nice mature feminine nose of dusty cherry, sherry and more cherry. Nice fruit holding on and structure is very intact. Not overdone or over extracted, this isn't tired at all and is quite pleasant indeed. Day two + under vacuvin, this has brought out sweet tobacco, ascorbic notes, while retaining a nice resonant finish.

A very nice showing and much better than i expected. Bought on release (at Ponzi's wine bar) for $25. This is still showing young and may improve a bit more. Ruby in color. The nose has cherries, macerated cherries and a slight sweet tart note. The slightest underlying on earthiness. On the palate, this has nice layering developing. Pop and poured, the last glass was the best. Good acidity and balance. Long finish. A great Oregon vintage IMO, and this wine showed above expectations.

Decent, but not memorable.

This was a steal for under $20. Nice cherry and other red fruit flavors, with barrel notes present but well integrated. Fairly simple, but enjoyable.

Nose of herbs, plums, cola. Palate is light and finishes short with green tea flavors.
