  Blackberry and aspragus nose, hint of cigar and dirt. Moderate tannins hint right upfront, along with very tart blackberry and an underlying greeness. Moderately high acidity. Green pepper added to the blackberry on the moderately long finish, with a hint of basil.
  
  4 hours after opening, the nose is now blackberry and beef blood. The green pepper is gone, but the rest of the flavor profile remains much the same.
