Another great place to park 40 bucks for all the toast and bread notes that you get here. A true up front Champagne character, without the mid palate guts to be anything more. Very satisfying and above many in this price range. Not made to hold

Ft Wayne Dinners; 3/19/2024-3/20/2024: Good bubbles, big flavors, taste the oak, $19,97 at Costco-say what, small glass with other red wines, will drink again.

Nose: Bread dough, lemon, butterscotch, granny smith caramel apple. Palate: Tart non-alcoholic cider, raspberry, strawberry. I got more autolytic notes in the aroma than I do here. High acid but very generous dosage. Has a bit of grip to it. I prefer a creamier mouse and smaller bubbles.

Day 1 ok and day 2 review: This is better and a bit more tart which I like. Shells, lemon, lime, candied pineapple, spice, minerals and orange peel. Medium finish and with this newer NV needs some time to blossom. 92 points

Classic brioche and yeast. Actually probably more yeastiness (in a good way) than the other big champagne houses. I like it.
