Certainly not as bright and it was at release but still a worthy SoCal Pinot Lots of body and fruit and maybe a bit of burnish but not at all turned. My last bottle and body is still intact but the I agree that the tannin is fully resolved without the loss of structure. A nice surprise for a bottle left along in the dark.

This is 3.5 years aftet the last tasting note and everything "I Wrote" wrote is still extant. The acid backbone is there as are the color and nose. This damn good wine making. Brava!

Didn't expect much of this, given the last tasting note was almost 3 years ago, and many back then suggested the wine had peaked, but Wow! I repeat, WOW!! Of course, the nose, as with nearly all Pinots, is still floral after 11 years, but the mouthfeel is velvety, the taste is initially "sweet without being sweet," something I've noticed in good Burgs. The finish is l e n g t h y. Label says 14.1%, but it doesn't taste that hot. A lovely, lovely bottle. Think I'll open my last bottle on T'giving. Bravo to Fiddlehead.

Found this bottle unexpectedly hiding from CT in cellar. What a nice surprise for New Years! Aged to perfection with perfect balance of fruit, earth and acid. Almost the perfect wine to enjoy with New Year's Eve dinner. Hope I find a few more.

Still going strong! Ample fruit left and floral notes. Tannins mostly resolved. Beautiful pinot
