This is the longest time that I have managed to hold on to one of these utterly drinkable skin-contact Pinot Gris. The short time aging has softened the gentle tannin a little more and accentuates the creaminess, which shines a brighter spotlight on the mild red fruit. Red apple blends into strawberry. Excellent.

Love this wine as a summer quencher. A bit reminiscent of the Sabelli-Frisch Flame Tokay rose - deeply aromatic, a subtle rasp of tannin, some clean orange zest and strawberry fruit. Excellent tension when served a bit chilled, but it loses its form once it warms up. Natural-wine-ish and slightly geeky, but super versatile and could be served to a crowd as well one would think.

What max said. Picking up a distinctive candied grapefruit note that is very appealing tonight. Need to buy more.

One of my favorite wines. Geeky but delicious enough for all. Perfect if you want to add some tannic but to your rose.
