Tasted after 1 hour of air. Dark ruby color almost opaque. Violets on the nose. Red currents. Firm dusty tannins. Some dark chocolate. Medium finish. Needs time. Not a good QPR. Way overpriced for what you are getting.

opaque purplish with medium-plus body. perfumed notes of violet and rose petals augment a complex nose of blue and black fruit, wood accents, tobacco, and milk chocolate. dry, dense, tight and tannic in the mouth at the moment, black and blue fruit notes peek from behind that wall along with pepper and spice accents. good persistence.
even with extended aeration, this wine is far too young and in need of a couple to a handful of years to bloom and live for a couple of decades; and live well, that is, as it has good balance in display to go with the density and structure.
14.9% AbV; 82% CS/ 22% Merlot/ 10% PV, each varietal from a different vineyard in Red Mountain and fermented in a variety of techniques; blended wine was aged for twenty-two months in French oak (85% new)

Good wine but not exciting for the price. Enough structure to suggest I might get more in 2-3 years.

Can't argue with Bargreen's 95, absolutely fabulous, didn't even need a decant.

Still needs to shed some oak, but good juice.
