Vineyard at 4300 ft, aged in French oak, 13.2% alcohol. 95% sangiovese with 5% cabernet. Round and cherry forward with an integrated toast aroma. less tannin than I would suspect but nicely balanced acid and fruit. Pleasantly surprised by this wine, and nice to see some well done domestic sangiovese.

Nice fruit on the nose. Black pepper on the end. Light in body. Dark fruit on the palate. Some say they taste terroir, but I didn't get that. I don't see it cellaring long. I'm curious to know how old the vines are.
