Still full of life and in perfect harmony. Acid, sweetness, oak, fruit comes togheter perfectly. It still has many years ahead. Not very much ageing notes to it yet, so I would say it will drink well in 10 more years.

Still rock solid. Strong notes of spice and plums on the nose. Remains quite smooth. Some drinking windows show this at the tail end but after tasting this bottle, I believe there is still some solid sipping yet to come with this one.

My third time since 2009, and this is without a doubt the best one yet. The color reveals no age, still a med>dark ruby; no bricking. The aromas are pretty much off the chart, intense perfume, lots of floral, and spice - but only after the first 10 minutes' aromas of several variations of earth. A second set or aromas show up, and they are all about red currants, raspberries and salty plums; a dusting of cocoa powder, and aged tobacco on the extended finish. The two bottles before this have been OK at best. This is up another notch, maybe two. In its window now, this is full-bodied, with a med+ finish, and lots of earthy, fruity power, and the best part is it's all buffered by wonderful acidity - something I never expected. Maybe this was positive bottle variation, maybe this ship has finally arrived, who knows. What I do know is that this bottle, tonight's bottle, has another 5-6 outstanding years yet ahead. I hope yours is just the same. 14,0% abv. highly recommended
PnP, served non-blind. Outstanding from the first moment till the last (something I rarely say).

Still drinking well. Dark, leathery. Was expecting this to be faded.
