  • Light golden colour with greenish reflexes, the nose is rather subdued with some citrus fruit, kiwi and grass. On the palate, this Auslese has a very good balance between sweetness and acidity and is extremely long. It's only sweet on the finish, not on the attack. There are some notes of unripeness on the palate. I'd say that this can still stay in the cellar for another ten or so years, but drinks well now.

  • (at Aimo e Nadia – Milan) True gold, but not old. Lovely petrol nose mixed with ripe pear fruit. Incredible balance of sweetness, acid and intensity. This is a wine of harmony that is drinking beautiffuly right now. The sweetness has softened and was a perfect mat for pigeon pate. (92)
