  Superb showing. Excellent balance between the cut of the lemon & pineapple and the plush butterscotch, along with some marzipan and peach. Delicious. In fact, it was even better on the second and third nights. Over time flavours got fuller and melded together better.

  Magnum, bought at auction. Awful chemical smell and even worse chemical taste. not like TCA, not like random oxidation. Don't know what it is but it went down the sink. This was an expensive (non) experience. I kept one glass full and it actually blew off after 4 hours and was sound underneath - a dense in proportion full bodied white. I think I made a mistake here.

  Meursault Perrieres blind tasting 1988-2011: Tight and closed, some grassy notes, not much aroma. The palate was very well balanced with good acidity. Looks like this one needs more time.
